Fredsignals Privacy Policy

This Fredsignals privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you use fredsignals.com and our Telegram relay service, why we process it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. Fredsignals is a licensed relay of the "Fredtrading - VIP - Main channel" Telegram channel into private Telegram direct messages, operated under a written agreement with Frederik Frost. We are an independent business and are not the same website as fred-frost.com.

What this Fredsignals privacy policy covers

This policy applies to:

It does not cover Telegram itself, Whop, or any broker, exchange or third-party website you reach from our content. Those services run under their own privacy policies, and we have no control over how they handle your data.

What personal data we collect

We do not collect or store your card number, CVC, bank details or full billing address. Those go directly to Whop. We also do not ask for broker credentials, account numbers, trading account balances or copies of identity documents, and you should never send them to us.

Special category data

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data such as health, biometric, racial, political or religious information. Please do not include it in support messages.

Why we process your data, and our legal basis

Purpose Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Linking your paid subscription to your Telegram account and delivering signals Performance of a contract
Managing trials, renewals, cancellations and access removal Performance of a contract
Answering support requests Performance of a contract; legitimate interests
Watermarking each copy and investigating unauthorised redistribution Legitimate interests — protecting licensed content and the rights of the channel owner
Security, abuse prevention, fraud and chargeback handling Legitimate interests; legal obligation
Website analytics and measuring which pages work Consent, where required by ePrivacy rules; otherwise legitimate interests
Marketing emails about Fredsignals Consent, or legitimate interests for messages to existing customers about the same service
Accounting, tax and record-keeping Legal obligation

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed our interest against your rights and concluded the processing is proportionate. You can object at any time — see Your rights below.

Signal watermarking and what it means for you

Every copy of a signal that our bot sends carries an invisible watermark tied to the receiving subscriber. This lets us identify the source if paid content is republished, resold or forwarded to a group without permission, which is a breach of the Terms of Service.

In plain terms: the watermark is not used to profile your trading, does not read your messages, and does not track you outside the delivery chat. It is used only to protect licensed content. We check watermarks reactively — when a leak is reported or detected — not as routine surveillance of subscribers.

Payments: Whop is the merchant of record

Subscriptions to Fredsignals are sold and processed by Whop, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Whop is the party you contract with for the payment itself, and Whop is the controller of your card and billing data for that transaction. Their privacy policy governs how they handle it.

From Whop we receive only what we need to run the subscription: an email address, subscription and trial status, renewal or cancellation events, and a customer reference. Cancelling is handled through your Whop account and takes effect at the end of the paid period; details are on the Pricing page.

Telegram delivery and your Telegram data

Signals are delivered by a Telegram bot into your private chat. When you press start, Telegram passes our bot your user ID, your first name, and your @username if you have set one. Our bot does not receive your phone number unless you deliberately share your contact with it — and there is no reason to do so. Do not send it.

We store your Telegram identifiers so we can match your subscription to your chat and send you signals. We do not read your other chats, contacts or files — Telegram does not give bots that access. Telegram's own handling of your account data is governed by Telegram's privacy policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or third-party advertisers. We share limited data with service providers who act on our instructions:

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — including claims connected with the licence agreement behind this relay.

How long we keep your data

Data Retention
Account and Telegram identifiers While your subscription is active, then up to [12] months
Delivery logs and watermark records Up to [12] months after delivery
Support correspondence Up to [24] months after the ticket closes
Invoices and accounting records [10] years, as required by Slovak accounting and tax law
Website analytics Up to [14] months, in aggregate form where possible

When a retention period ends we delete or irreversibly anonymise the data. Records subject to a live legal claim or a statutory obligation are kept until that ends.

Your rights under this Fredsignals privacy policy

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you can ask us to:

Write to [privacy@fredsignals.com] from the email address on your subscription. We aim to reply within one month. We may ask for information to confirm your identity, and we cannot act on a request that would force us to break a legal obligation — for example deleting an invoice we are required to keep.

If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — most issues are a misunderstanding we can fix quickly. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava. You may instead complain to the authority where you live or work.

Cookies and website analytics

fredsignals.com uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the site and the checkout flow, and — where you consent — a small number of analytics cookies so we can see which pages people find useful. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Refusing analytics cookies does not affect your access to signals.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and limited administrator access to protect your data. Only people who need it for support or operations can reach subscriber records. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection — but if a breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as the GDPR requires.

Children

Fredsignals is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has subscribed, contact us and we will remove the account and the associated data.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone. Access is granted or revoked automatically based on your subscription status, which is a straightforward contractual step rather than profiling.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service, our providers or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify active subscribers by email or through the Telegram bot before it takes effect.

A note on the service itself

Fredsignals relays trading signals for XAUUSD and forex pairs. Signals are general market information, not personal investment advice, and nothing on this site is tailored to your circumstances. Trading leveraged instruments carries a high risk of losing your capital — you can lose more than you expect, and past results are not a reliable indicator of future results. Only trade money you can afford to lose, and consider getting independent advice. You can read what the service does and does not include on Gold trading signals and our FAQ.

If you are comfortable with how we handle your data, you can start the 3-day free trial from the Join page — 15 USD per month afterwards, cancel any time.
