Trading signals risk disclosure — read this before you follow any signal

This trading signals risk disclosure explains in plain language what you receive when you subscribe to Fredsignals and what you take on yourself. In short: the XAUUSD and forex signals we relay into your private Telegram chat are general market information, not personal investment advice. Acting on them puts your money at risk. Trading leveraged instruments such as gold and currency pairs can result in the loss of some or all of the capital you commit, and those losses can happen quickly. If you are not comfortable with that, do not subscribe.

Scope of this trading signals risk disclosure

This document applies to everything published or delivered under fredsignals.com: the website, the Telegram bot that delivers signals to your private chat, the public signal archive, the written guides, and every message sent to you during a free trial or a paid subscription. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, our Refund and Cancellation Policy and our Privacy Policy. Where those documents overlap with this one, read them as a single set rather than in isolation.

By starting a trial, paying for a subscription, or acting on any message we deliver, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclosure.

What Fredsignals is, and what it is not

We relay; we do not advise

Fredsignals is a licensed relay. We operate under a written agreement with Frederik Frost, owner of the Fredtrading brand, which permits us to forward the content of the "Fredtrading - VIP - Main channel" Telegram channel into subscribers' private chats. We do not originate the trade ideas, and we do not change the entry, stop loss or take-profit levels that the source channel publishes. Each copy we send carries an invisible watermark so that leaked messages can be traced back to the account they came from.

Because we relay rather than analyse, we express no opinion on whether any individual signal is a good idea, and we cannot tell you whether to take it.

We are not a broker, a fund manager or an adviser

We do not hold client money. We do not execute orders. We have no access to your trading account and we do not manage anyone's portfolio. You keep your own broker and you place every order yourself. Nothing we send is a personal recommendation: we do not know your income, your account size, your experience, your tax position or your objectives, and we carry out no suitability or appropriateness assessment.

Every subscriber gets the same message

Signals are broadcast identically to everyone. A trade that is reasonable for a well-capitalised account with a documented risk plan can be entirely unsuitable for a small account, for borrowed money, or for someone trading under pressure. See our guide on lot size for XAUUSD signals — position sizing, not signal selection, is usually what decides the outcome.

Key risks this trading signals risk disclosure asks you to accept

The table below is a summary, not an exhaustive list of everything that can go wrong when trading.

RiskWhat it means in practice
Loss of capitalYou can lose part or all of the money in your trading account. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose entirely.
LeverageMargin magnifies both gains and losses. A small adverse move can wipe out a large share of your balance or trigger a margin call.
Gold volatilityXAUUSD can move sharply around economic releases, central bank decisions and geopolitical news. Ranges can widen without warning.
Gaps and slippageWeekend gaps and thin liquidity mean a stop loss may fill materially worse than the level stated in a signal. Stops limit risk; they do not guarantee a price.
Execution differencesYour broker's spread, commission, swap and quote feed differ from the source. Your fill and your result will not match the signal exactly.
TimingPrice can move past the entry before you see or place the order. A signal that arrives late may no longer be tradeable at the stated level.
Third-party contentThe trade ideas are authored by the source channel. We cannot verify, audit or vouch for the reasoning behind any of them.
BehaviourChasing missed entries, doubling position size after a loss and abandoning a plan mid-trade are common ways subscribers lose money even on sound signals.
TechnologyTelegram outages, bot downtime, device settings, muted notifications and internet failures can all delay or prevent delivery.

No promises about results

We publish no win rate, no profit figures, no drawdown statistics and no member results, and we make no claim that following signals will be profitable. If you see such a claim made about this service anywhere, it is not ours and it is not authorised. Past performance — ours, the source channel's, or anyone else's — is not a reliable indicator of future results.

Our public signal archive exists for transparency about what was sent and when. It is not a performance record: it cannot show your fill price, your spread, your slippage, your position size or your exit decisions, and those are what determine your actual outcome.

Delivery, timing and technical limits

The bot is built to forward each signal to your private chat within seconds of publication, and that is what normally happens. It is a target, not a guarantee. Delivery depends on Telegram's platform, on the timing of the upstream channel, on rate limits, on our own infrastructure and on your device. You should never plan a trade on the assumption that a signal will arrive, arrive on time, or arrive while the stated price is still available. How the relay works describes the delivery path in more detail.

Signals are licensed to you personally. Forwarding, reselling or republishing them breaches your subscription terms, and the watermark on each copy is designed to identify the source of a leak.

Your responsibilities

Suitability and your own jurisdiction

Our subscribers are worldwide, but the rules where you live are yours to check. Some countries restrict or prohibit retail trading in leveraged foreign exchange and contracts for difference, cap leverage, or regulate how signal services may be marketed. Nothing on this website is directed at any person in a jurisdiction where publishing or accessing it would be unlawful. It is your responsibility to confirm that subscribing and trading is permitted for you, and we may decline or end a subscription where we believe it is not.

The service is intended for people aged 18 or over.

Regulatory status of the operator

Fredsignals is operated from Slovakia, in the European Union. We are not a licensed investment firm. We are not authorised or supervised by Národná banka Slovenska, by ESMA, by the FCA or by any other financial regulator, and we do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, reception and transmission of orders, or any other regulated investment service under MiFID II or its national implementations.

One practical consequence: because we are not regulated as an investment firm, our service is not covered by investor compensation schemes or by a financial services ombudsman. Consumer protection rules that apply to the sale of a digital subscription do still apply, and nothing here removes them. Details of who runs the service are on our about page.

Payments, billing and cancellation

Access costs 15 USD per month after a 3-day free trial, as set out on our pricing page. Payment is by card and is processed by Whop, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Whop handles card-network settlement and applicable VAT or sales tax; we remain the supplier of the service itself and the party responsible for delivering it.

Renewal is automatic until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your Whop account. Cancelling stops future renewals. What happens to the period you have already paid for, and the statutory 14-day withdrawal right available to consumers in the EU, EEA and UK, are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. A subscription fee is a cost of the service and is unrelated to your trading results: paying it does not entitle you to any trading outcome.

Third-party brands and independence

"Fredtrading", "Fred Frost" and associated names and marks belong to their owner and are used here under the written licence described above, to describe accurately what we relay. Fredsignals is an independently operated business. This website is not fred-frost.com, we do not speak for it, and we do not speak for its brokers or partners. Any broker offer, promotion or account link that appears in the source channel is the responsibility of whoever published it, not ours. Our relationship to the source channel is set out on the Fredtrading VIP relay page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in this disclosure excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

Changes to this trading signals risk disclosure

We may update this page as the service, the law or our regulatory position changes. The version published here is the one that applies. Where a change is material, we will flag it to active subscribers through the bot or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated version.

Questions before you start

If anything above is unclear, ask us before you subscribe rather than after — contact us here. If you are new to signals and want to understand what actually arrives in a message, read gold trading signals explained and how to read a XAUUSD signal. When you have read this page and still want to try the service, the free trial starts on the join page.

Final reminder: trading gold and forex carries a high risk of losing money. Trade only with capital you can afford to lose entirely, size every position deliberately, and never treat a signal as a promise.
